Night Walker

I wander like a dog roaming midnight streets,
pavements washed with a damp orange glow -
Clouds floating like soft islands roll heavenly,
wind blown leaves dance to natures tune -
Bus lights, taxi rides, aeroplane people in the sky,
moon glazed strangers quickly pass me by -
Dark lit allies echo drunken ecstasy from the night before,
as icy fog shrounds midnights beckoning call.
