Let not any one man police the heart,
the actions of which can not always be explained -
The feelings of love must not be ignored,
forever flowing freely through ones veins.

You should of seen the look on here face,
when she found out the sun had forgotten her name -
Rain drenched hair, wind blown skin,
her face twisted in pain.

It’s cold and dark in here,
I’ve been down for far to long -
Help me I’m lost,
where has everyone gone.

I’ll Never Forget You (Mother)

The next time that i see you,
I’ll be looking towards the sky -
I remember the day the sun turned black,
the storm clouds that rolled on by -
My whole world has been shaken,
and now there’s lead in side my heart -
I can not keep myself from crying,
just because god said we had to part -
Sorrow’s taken a firm hold of  my body,
it feels like I’m standing here alone -
I felt you being taken away from me,
but a mothers love is always known.

I wander like a dog roaming midnight streets,
pavements washed with a damp orange glow -
Clouds floating like soft islands roll heavenly,
wind blown leaves dance to natures tune -
Bus lights, taxi rides, aeroplane people in the sky,
moon glazed strangers quickly pass me by -
Dark lit allies echo drunken ecstasy from the night before,
as icy fog shrounds midnights beckoning call.

Dark lost and some what diseased mind,
the feeling of incompetence -
The wanting to learn, being affraid of change,
the lacking of self-confidence.

I need a summer sun to rid this winter from my heart.

I pick at a scab on my face violently and hard -
My finger worms its way through my flesh,
in search of my true self.
